AmritaCREATE, Amrita University, organized a one-day workshop on OLabs at Chinmaya Vidyalaya School, Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu, on 26 August, 2017. Thirty-six science teachers from nine schools participated in the workshop.
Suresh Dhandapani, staff member of AmritaCREATE, explained OLabs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in OLabs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore OLabs in the computer lab of the school in two batches. After the training session, certificates of participation and free OLabs
CDs were given to the participants for future reference.
“It helps the students those who are not interest in studies. It is very useful to the school which are not having the proper equipment in labs," commented by Naguporchelvi From Ananda Vidyalaya School.
“OLabs makes the students to understand very easily. They will like to do more in OLabs than real labs", commented by Pathrakali from SLR Rotary Vidyalaya School.
