AmritaCREATE, Amrita University, organized a one-day workshop on OLabs at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Amritsar, Punjab, on 21 August, 2017. Sixteen science teachers from eight schools participated in the workshop.
Chandrashekhar, staff member of AmritaCREATE, explained OLabs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in OLabs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore OLabs in the computer lab of the school for one hour. After the training session, certificates of participation and free OLabs CDs were given to the participants for future reference.
"OLabs training programme is beneficial for the teachers to show the experimental setup to all the students and the platform provides an understanding of physical lab to the students In better way. It really helps the teaching learning process," commented by Samarjeet Bhatia, JNV Hoshiarpur.
