In collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya, Regional Office, Mumbai, C-DAC Mumbai conducted "ICT for Schools" workshop on 26th July 2017 at Kendriya Vidyalaya southern command, Pune and on 27th July 17 at Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT, Powai, Mumbai.
Total 67 teachers from 38 different Kendriya Vidyalayas of Maharashtra and Goa participated in the workshop. The workshop covered presentation-cum- demo and hands-on session on OLabs, eBasta and Assessment & Monitoring Framework (AMF) followed by the hands-on session. CDAC, Mumbai's ETU team handled the sessions in both the workshops.
After the training session, certificate of participation was given to each teacher and a pen-drive containing OLabs Windows installer and relevant material was given to each school. The workshop received a very positive response from teachers and most of them are interested in using these tools in their schools.
