AmritaCREATE, Amrita University, organized a one-day workshop on OLabs at Pragathi Central School, Telangana, on 24 April, 2017. One hundred and thirty science teachers from sixteen schools participated in the workshop.
The workshop was conducted in morning and afternoon in two batches due to the presence of one hundred and thirty teachers as participants. Seventy teachers participated in the morning session and fifty teachers participated in the evening session. Suresh Dhandapani, staff member of AmritaCREATE, explained OLabs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in OLabs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore OLabs in the computer lab of the school for one hour. After the training session, certificates of participation and free OLabs CDs were given to the participants for future reference.
