AmritaCREATE, Amrita University organized a one-day workshop on OLabs at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mugalsarai, Uttar Pradesh, on 29 June, 2017. Thirty-six science teachers from fourteen schools participated in the workshop.
Chandrashekhar represented AmritaCREATE. He explained OLabs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in OLabs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore OLabs in the computer lab of the school.
The participants showed great enthusiasm while experiencing the experiments showcased in OLabs. They highly appreciated the content of OLabs and the training programme organized. After the training session, certificates of participation and free OLabs CDs were given to the participants.
"The training program is good and innovative. This is new concept with innovation and experimentation. It really provides a new platform for practicals and a good supportive teaching aid," commented by Shobith Srivastava, K V DLW Kanchanpur Varanasi.
