AmritaCREATE organized a one-day workshop on OLabs at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bowenpally, Secunderabad, Telangana, on 7 July, 2017. One hundred and three science teachers from fifty schools participated in the workshop.
Smt. J.S.V. Lakshmi, Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Secunderabad, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Suresh Dhandapani, staff member of AmritaCREATE, explained OLabs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in OLabs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore OLabs in the computer lab of the school for one hour in two batches. After the training session, certificates of participation and free OLabs CDs were given to the participants for future reference.
