AmritaCREATE, Amrita University, conducted an OLabs training programme at Govt. Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, C Block, Saraswati Vihar, Delhi, on 19 January, 2017. Forty-three science teachers from eighteen schools participated in the training programme.
R.K. Sharma, Vice-Principal of the school, inaugurated the programme. Yogita Girotra, TGT, was the coordinator of OLabs in the school. Chandrashekhar represented Amrita CREATE. He introduced OLabs to the participants and explained the benefits and significance of OLabs in the present scenario of school education.
"The training was really useful for teachers and students. It was a new approach of teaching science, innovative and interesting. The students will take active participation in learning science experiments through the new platform," remarked Sheela Wadhwa, Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Prashant Vihar, Delhi.
