AmritaCREATE organized a one-day workshop on OLabs at Bharani Vidhyalaya Senior Secondary School, Karur, Tamil Nadu, on 22 October, 2016. Eighty- five science teachers from twenty- five schools participated in the workshop.
Suresh Dhandapani, staff member of AmritaCREATE, explained OLabs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in OLabs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore OLabs in the computer lab of the school. After the training session, certificates of participation and free OLabs CDs were given to the participants for future reference.
The session was really useful and it will surely help the students to understand the concepts clearly. The video attachment is really good and gives a detailed explanation of how the experiment has to be conducted in the real lab,” commented by a participant after the training session.
