AmritaCREATE and CBSE jointly conducted an Online Labs training programme in Chennai at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Chennai on 30 July, 2016. Eighty-one science teachers from twenty-nine CBSE schools participated in the training programme.
The computer lab of the school was set up for the training programme. Suresh Dhandapani represented AmritaCREATE. He introduced Online Labs to the participants and demonstrated one experiment from each subject as per the request of the teachers. This was followed by a hands-on session where the participants had the opportunity to explore the online system themselves.
The participants showed a keen interest in exploring the animations, simulations and real videos on the website. After the hands-on session, the feedback of Online Labs was sought from the participants for the improvement of lab content.
